Concerning the VotG map - I am curious as to how many of us are okay with it or how many of us find it too dark, or even if any of us feel it is so bad it need re-doing!

I've attached a Poll.

Thanks.

The map isn't unplayable, but it did print somewhat too dark. Gutted Buildings and Rail Car hexes aren't as easy to identify as they should be, especially once one considers the delays and extended development time that went into VotG.

Still a product worth having and playing.

I would buy a clearer one (especially to distinguish gutted buildings and see the railway wagons better).
BTW it is not Don Petros' fault : he expressed his dismay when he saw the printed result.

It is dark, not un playable, but still a little darker than I would have liked. If a replacement/upgrade was made available I would get it.

Got mine blown up to double the size and individual areas for each scenario, now a lot clearer to see and to play on.

I feel that it is too dark, but I'm not sure that it's so dark it's worth redoing, much less needs redoing.

I have trouble seeing some things on the VotG map, but it is not to the point where it is unplayable nor needs a redo.

Count me in the space between 'too dark' and 'fine as is'.
Not dark enough to need a reprint, but not ideal either.

I had no trouble distinguishing gutted buildings, etc. but my eyesight is getting noticably worse in the last year, so I certainly get the point made by others.

I've no problem with the actual map but the black hex-grid font in the rules examples are a bugger to read.

I voted it was too dark... IMO, it is almost unplayable. (really)

But if they reprinted it, I'd buy a copy.

Hi!

-I think its too dark

-but I can play on it OK, though I do admit to having trouble at times

-I do not think MMP needs to replace it for free

-but if they re-printed it, I would buy it.....

Peace

I voted it is fine as is, but I can see how others would have issues with it being too dark, and I can't say that I myself won't have problems distinguishing certain hexes as time goes by and my eyesight worsens a bit. Like others, I'd spring for a re-print, but don't feel like MMP needs to eat the cost.

Can "inability to play ASL" be used to as an excuse to have lasik deemed medically necessary and thus covered by insurance? ;)
