What play-aids are a "must have" when you play a scenario and why?

Gentlemen

Just wanted to get an idea of what players consider must have play-aids and why so.

For me it is the Rat charts and a homemade scenario turn/HIP sheet, just keeps things organized and moving.

I will use on occasion some terrain or special rules cheat sheet, but less is more on play-aids for me at this point.

Thanks
Joe

QRDC, Terrain chart, Concealment gain/loss chart, OVR and OBA flowcharts.
QRDC could be epurated from some useless tables.

Ole Boe's IIFT(M)QRDC v3.6 (= Incremental IFT (Mini) Quick Reference Data Card).

Best one page (front and backside) play aid out there, which of course is also useful for the non-IIFT bunch.

http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/index.php?resources/iift-m-qrdc-v3-6-by-ole-boe.10/

Holds most of what you need on a single page (front & backside):
  • IFT/IIFT
  • Close Combat Table
  • Ambush
  • Leader Creation
  • Heat of Battle
  • To Hit Table
  • Firer- & Target-Based TH DRM
  • AP TK Table
  • APCR/APDS TK Table
  • HEAT TK Table
  • HE & Flame TK Table
  • AFV Destruction Table

The MF/PP cross reference chart in the 96 annual. I've made copies of that thing so many times I lost count.

I am told dice are necessary. I don't see why because I can generate random numbers in my head, but apparently that's not good enough.

All I need the green one that tells me when the terrain is in season or not. I have all the other charts memorized but I can't get the green one down, go figure.

Terrain chart and QRDC is a must, I can do without the others.
I have most of the fire tables memorized, but not CC, HoB, etc.
TBH I don't really consider the QRDC a player aid, it's a necessity to play the game as much as the mapboard and scenario card.

My brain.

Otherwise I will just be swatting and chewing counters.
