BTW: Fritz Langanke, holder of the Knight´s Cross, lives 2 minutes away from me...i met him some times at a friends house, some 16 years ago. He is a friend of of my buddys father. Last year i learned who he was.

Ask him about his friend Joachim Schlimka (or maybe Schlomka). With two Panthers at St. Sever Calvados, France , they stoopped an entire column of the US 2 AD "Hell on Wheels" in August '44.
