Gentlemen

This section of the forums has been silent for awhile. Any news on how the Panzer blitz game is coming along?

Yes, more than a few likely want to know this.

I know I certainly do.

It's probably in the same level of limbo that the Up Front re release is in.

I'm just glad I have the original versions.

Looks like it's still 175 orders away from making its P#. Looks like the same question is being asked on CSW as well.

So what is the word? More MMP vaporware?
It still belongs to the precedent preorder system, so you can come whining over here as you do on the ASL side... it will change nothing.
At least there are enough preorders now (874/575).

Does anybody have an actual answer to my Q? :D
Probably not.

Evidently, there is nobody at MMP who is stirred by a fire in the belly about PanzerBlitz the same way that Chas Argent is moved by ASL and AP4/5 (as an example).

As much as it might rankle your sensibilties, the games that MMP produces need to be a labor of love for these folks to devote their free time from real jobs to publish.

When they get a round tuit? Or perhaps a Monday (20% chance...).

What else hit pre-order before it did? Likely when all the other stuff is out that went over their own pre-order requirements.

Not to mention the revised Panzer Blitz may need proofing or other editorial work that's still in the pipeline. Generally speaking, the same issues every other reprint has had for MMP.

Sounds like it's close now. Problems during development slowed the chances of release (think TDC-type issues) quickly after it reached its P#.

Someone insignificant whinged "Does anybody have an actual answer to my Q?"
Nothing new: same old tripe on a new platter by the same untalented cook...

Hey, aren't you forgetting something?

You're supposed to be ragging on Fezz for ragging on Portal for ragging on MMP... aren't you?

Posting after I did here, as he's made a point of doing elsewhere, is the internet equivilent of firing across my bow. Nuance.

Nah. I'm showing him that despite petty, insignificant differences of opinion on matters of personality, it is possible to overcome them and just - you know - use the forum for its intended purpose and talk about the hobby we all share and enjoy without worrying about all that other stuff in every single damn thread. :D

Becoming yourself, ironically enough, that which you profess to despise...:devious:
