One should never cosplay while playing ASL. Just sayin'.Yes, this is the way! (Waiting on a new season for the Mandalorian).
ASL content: Man I hate Mistaken Attacks during a playtest, has happened twice now in 5 playtests of the same scenario, yech.
Not that it hasn't been tried - at least something in that direction:One should never cosplay while playing ASL. Just sayin'.
I remember playing this one many years ago at GRENADIER (the Sunday morning round - it was not. But instead as a friendly game not part of the tournament). Big fun!Pulled the counters and plan to play Op Hubertus over the next few weekends. Even stumbled across the Curt Schilling vanity leader so I'll throw him into the inferno of Stalingrad lol.

Peter Struif wrote an excellent article on how to handle the VBM freeze. It is in one of the journals.I need to study the mechanics of the infantry options to the freeze move.
In addition to Peter's article, I have written four short articles as well. -- jimPeter Struif wrote an excellent article on how to handle the VBM freeze. It is in one of the journals.

I've read them but it has not stuck in my head yet. I'll need to read again. Thanks Jim.In addition to Peter's article, I have written four short articles as well. -- jim
I have not had any direct news from him either. But what I heard is that he currently does not play or design a lot of ASL. Instead, he is focussing on designing another game. Maybe something in the Euro game direction. How is Peter doing? Have not heard a word from him in sometime. Is he still working on his scenario packs?
It should be a piece of cake for you to turn these relics into shining coin...I went into my filing cabinet to look for some ASL stuff and I realized I needed to get rid of some stuff: Box cover art for about eight modules, letters from Avalon Hill dating late eighties, early nineties signed by Rex Martin, Bob MacNamara, playtest agreement for KGP (but I ended up not playtesting that module).
