Portal's New Avatar Contest

It occurs to me that part (admittedly only part) of the problem with the impression Portal makes on the universe is that he's chosen an arrogant smoking SS murderer as his avatar. I don't know about you but every time I see that picture I just scroll on by...but what would people think of him if he had something a bit softer, like say, this?

What would you choose for him, to help give his image a (much-needed) makeover?

I think Portal should keep his avatar. I hate it when people keep changing their avatars.

People who keep changing their avatars are sick, and psychologically insecure. They can't figure out who they are or who they want to be. They're so unsure of themselves and obsessed with pleasing others that they constantly change their online appearance, hoping that their vapid personalities will be overlooked by this continuous visual distraction.

This "showing off" of different visual aspects is also what is known in nature as the "mating display". Hoping to attract a mate from the forumites, these sad, desperate individuals attempt to draw attention to themselves with visual signals, since their written and vocalization skills are usually woefully inept.

Often these forumites can be found wearing different flashy hats with rhinestones and feathers while "speed-dating" in gay bars.

Of course, all my ersatz analysis is total crap, and people just get tired of having the same old avatar. :clown:

Sometimes you just look at an animal and realize: "How in the hell can this species possibly survive?" If humans weren't around, this guy would be in some pretty deep sh*t.
