I'd suggest a day trip or, even better, an overnight trip to Niagara Falls. 3.5hr drive each way. If you can, check out both sides of the falls...

Ohio is a small state and Holmes County is not far from Cleveland. You can easily stay in the hotel and drive there and back--although you might also be interested in something like trying an Amish country bed-and-breakfast for a night (see, for example, https://www.bedandbreakfast.com/berlin-ohio.html).
