No, but I recall the old timers of the Winnipeg ASL Club discussing the various abuses of smoke - white, grey, and purple.

Shouldn't this thread be part of the How Did You Learn the IFT Table thread that the Dan Rock started? Might be a breakthrough for someone's learning ability.

Yes. It's hard to do LOS checks with the board warping and melting as you try to keep from laughing. That's what somebody told me. Lol

Do the counters ask you for rules interpretations?

I have, quite a few times.

It is very difficult. Your mind tends to wander, and it's hard to focus. It's useful to take other drugs simultaneously for balance to help concentrate on the game.

Never done it but suspect the small color bubbles emanating from the counters would be fairly distracting.

The closest I have every done it was one time when I was 17 or 18, I came home tripping on cid at 2 in the morning, I had a COI scenario setup and I just stared at the board for like an hour trippin on how detailed the woods were, and how I can see the dirt in the roads, when the PzKw III E started to move without my fingers moving it and drove up a hill, I had to pick it up, the counter was so tiny in my big balloon hands I was so fascinated by it, the CE commander was speaking in German and I could not understand him at all, I started to freak a little and put him back on the hill and picked up my guitar and started to watch the colors play out of the amplifier as the laser lights flashed off the strings, when all of a sudden this toothless bearded hag walks in and speaking troll said "What the hell are you playing that racket for at 4 in the morning?" and that is when the cross-fire hurricane began...

Have not touched the stuff in 30 years...

Listening to the dark side of the moon.
that album would not be the first one I would pick for ASL play. It is more likely to make you want to sleep or make love. I'd bet many MANY children were conceived to that album lol.

ASL play! Not acid. Amphetamines! This is music to play ASL to.

No.
Drunk? You bet. Even at a tournament.
Much to my opponent's dismay. But he was a great sport about it,
and beat me soundly in "The Citadel".

Nope. Do not know how anyone could play ASL while on Acid or Mushrooms. I just would not be able to hold it together, especially at some place like ASLOK. Way too many people in a small area and too much stimulus.

Peace
