Embarrassing how long it took me to realize that the scenarios were not actually called “Initial Skirmish vs Sebastian Hummel” and the like.

What an odd name for a scenario, I thought to myself...

That scenario you are talking about transpired many years ago and Oberst von Marwitz got totally stomped in it by a Hummel...

Thanks for providing the excellent AAR. I have FrF11, but after reading you AAR on Ghostbusters, I am going to buy FrF9 and 10.

The FrF scenario packs are without doubt well invested ASL-money. You'll find plenty of excellent designs in them.

You should buy them all as long as they are available...

Great AAR's! Nice write up and some dramatic games.

One small point for Buckley's block. You are 100% correct on the 37LL C7 actually meaning C10 in the Pacific. However I don't think Marines are considered elite for C8.2 special ammo purposes, except by SSR. Marine MMC are elite for purposes such as using FT/DC.

You are correct with regard to C7 being raised to C10 and not to C11 (see C8.2 that mentions only Russian or SS as Elite formations elegible for an 'auto-raise' of 1 for special ammo. So in absence of an SSR, there is none for the Marines despite their being an Elite formation (unless it would be a DYO game).

Jacometti had pointed this out yesterday in the Grenadier-thread.

I'm glad I read the Buckley's Block AAR. I now realize I've been playing the PTO canister depletion wrong for years!
