Every person who got burned by that so-called company.

Hmmm...I am actually monitoring this thread to hear more about MMP's version of the 1948 Arab/Israeli conflict....not everyone's opinion of CH. There is already an ongoing thread that allows you to bash CH at will. Why not use that one instead? I champion everyone's right to their opinion on TPPs and modules...just in the right location.
Hey moderator...How about it?

The thread was derailed far before CH was evoked.
Business as usual on GS.
Nothing to moderate, except perhaps to move the thread to the Chit-Chat folder.

No...don't move "Contested Lands" to the chit-chat folder...tell those that want to talk about everything BUT Contested Lands to take it to a chit-chat folder. I didn't tune into this thread to hear all the "Forum Gurus" talk about everything else besides this upcoming module. I guess I am the one that doesn't belong on Gamesquad.

As a moderator, I cannot tell people to keep on topic.
I only can sanction personal attacks and other disruptive behaviour.
We are all grown-ups.
At least on paper.
I appreciate the reply and the honesty. Hopefully further replies to the thread will be about the new module. And I do acknowledge the irony that this reply was not about the module.

Chances are until MMP gives an intro to the module, you won't get a thing (that's real).

There's a saying in finance that's quite apt here - "those who knows don't talk, those who talks don't know"

MMP indeed don't communicate about the details of their projects before they are published.
I am confident that the module will be top notch quality.

I am hoping that the designers share info on its development to include things like whether it will be purely on geo boards, whether they plan on developing any special boards, historical ones of particular cities/kibbutz. Whether it will include all those nations involved, and whether there will be full OOB of them all at the time.

I also wouldn't mind some book recommendations. The usual method of reading the 1-star reviews doesn't seem to work for this series of conflicts.

Have not read either of these, but do own them.

Genesis 1948 - Dan Kurzman
O Jerusalem! - Larry Collins & Dominique Lapierre

Perhaps someone who has read either of them can make a comment.

It's been a looooong time since I read it, and I quite enjoyed it. Not a book for scenario fodder, however.
By the same pair that brought us Is Paris Burning. Both books are interesting human histories that are good reads. As you accurately observe, not much in the way of scenario material.
