All,

Now that Free Agency has begun to settle down, what are your thoughts on how your team may play in the 2013 NFL season?

New England - 12 wins, 4 losses. The offense will score many points in some games, while in tight defensive battles, they'll barely break 14 points. They'll win the AFC East, with Miami going 8-8, Jet 7-9 and Bills 5-11.

Still a few good veterans on the defensive side of the ball that might sign at lower prices, based upon the longer they are on the "outside looking in"........

The real question is how many felonies will New England have during the 2013 season. That is the more interesting bet. :p

I thought the Govenment said they had to use flags now instead of tackling for everybodies safety.

Stafford

Matthew Stafford just made an incredible play to win the game. Less than a minute left, no timeouts, down by six, long pass on the edge to the 25 stops the clock. Next play is a pass to Calvin Johnson at the one, inbounds. Stafford is rushing everyone to the line to clock the ball. Formation set, he sneaks it for a touchdown instead of clocking it and caught Dallas off guard. What a heads up play, everyone thought he was going to ground it to kill the clock, instead he sneaks it over the top for the touchdown.

Yes, the Lions did beat the Cowboys.....

Best of all, was when Megatron demolished the "Cry-baby" Dez in the "head-to-head" receiver stats.....

Re: Stafford

Look for the Lions to make the playoffs this year. If they don't, it's because the league's still pissed at them after all these years. Ever since they broke Jim Browns leg in the 1957 Championship game they been on the NFL's **** list. Ironicaly, the Lions won something like 57 - 0 (in 1957). I think they broke his leg on the first series of the game. Makes me wonder if they did it on purpose. Even with the great Barry Sanders, Detroit still couldn't win a championship. What Sanders have, like 68 TD's in his first 6 seasons? A total of 15,000+ yards in only 10 seasons. Man, was he great!

Sanders is second best of all time, behind Brown. Brown's career can be summed up in three numbers: 104.3, 5.2, 0

104.3 is the career yards per game. Only player in NFL history over 100 yrds/game. Sanders is second at 99.2, might have this record if the Lions hadn't been so crappy while he was playing. Adrian Peterson is at 98.2 and could break this one.

5.2 is the career yards per rushing attempt. Highest in NFL history by a player with more than 1000 rushing attempts (Jamaal Charles is higher but still active, he might break this one)

0 is games missed
