Lol may they look back on this day decades from now and remember that on his wedding day he took the time to post on Gamesquad! I absolutely love it!!🤗
She understands that she is my second wife...and not just because I was previously married. It is up to her to fight for her place in the standings.🤣:p:D:devilish:

All joking aside, she understands the enjoyment that I get from the game and how much my ASL buddies mean to me, and she supports that 100%. There were a number of my very good ASL friends in attendance at my wedding...it was very touching and meant a lot to me to have my ASL brothers Dave C., Matt C., Jim A., and Matt R. share the day with us.

Semper Fi!

I got remarried recently to a wonderful lady, originally from China. I explained that I played this game called ASL and gave a brief description of the gameplay, complexity, cost…🙄, and typical time commitment. She immediately understood it all except for one point: “How much do you play for?” I said “what?!” and I was schooled that nobody in her home country would ever put forth such effort in a game without hope of remuneration! lol.

Getting paid for playing SL/ASL, sigh! If only it had been so. 😉

Oh I’ll bet all those listed in the credits on the back of a box are struggling to deal with the sudden windfall of fame and fortune. Can’t imagine how much worse it is for those that appeared in magazines.

I hear you, Dispatches is a labor of love, it might pay for my ASL and other hobby purchases and let me get food out once in awhile but it won't pay the bills. Unless you are MMP I don't see how you make enough in this hobby to stop working. I'm retired so I can get by, barely.

Yeah, really. I'm having a custom-built Amish dinning set being made. It's way less expensive than my ASL stuff over the years. When I die, it'll be passed generation to generation. My ASL cardboard would likely get tossed as worthless by my kids.

My grandparents survived an Atlantic crossing, a depression, and a World War. If they would see what I spend on gaming (buying cardboard and paper) not only would they turn over in their graves, they'd also likely haunt me in a poltergeist manner. First by knocking over my death ray stacks of Germans, and then upending the table, before swallowing up the house into a sinkhole.

You could be doing much worse than playing in this hobby, it will at least help keep the cognitive and memory gremlins a little more at bay while you age. My mom had Alzheimer's so playing these games is a line of defense against it, I have no symptoms, though I will be 70 in December and my memory is not quite what it was. Play on, until you can't anymore.

Hi Luis - thanks for the question! I'm going to contact our UK retailer (Second Chance Games) and our EU retailer (Gamers HQ) about it this week.
It's referring to HazMo pack #4. I'm sorry, but it seems that EU and UK retailers don't carry your product...
And I'm very sorry but in this case I won't follow your products. I bought HazMo 3 from a USA retailer. It charged me the cost and the estimated shipping and then, very honestly returned me the difference of estimated and real shipping. But this resulted in an enquiry by the Treasury of my country, and in a painful loss of time recovering receipts and account manifests. I won't go to get involved another time in these proceedings.
I've said in other posts, but the best of you TPP can do to maximize your earnings is to put your products in PDF in the ASL archive or other platforms. You may price it as you like... It doesn't matter to me if it's the retailer price. Printing it it's my problem and my expense. But the US shipping triples the cost, the customs puts another twice the amount of retail price... And if after paying these costs I'm am submited to further enquiries... sorry, but no.
Don't misunderstand me, I would prefer your fine scenarios in your fine, slightly corrugated folder, but understand me too: when I buy a scenario pack, it's for the meat, not for the gravy, as beautiful it is.

Well put and what a hassle you have to deal with the government just to play a game.🙄

I added maps i j k l m n and o to my map portfolio. These are all starter kit maps that I recently found out I was missing. I was able to purchase half of them as parts, but the other half required me to buy the SK product, which I will not use. Alex Key was my retailer of choice for this purchase, partly because he supports a lot of tournaments, partly because I had one of his gift certificate prizes.

As an aside, one of the SK modules included a runway overlay, which I will also keep.

I punched and filed the 648 Brit AE units and also the American AFV errata counters from Forgotten War which were included in Manila.

Finished sleeving everything in the collection and now I'm re-organizing the binders to accept what I have and plan it smarter for growth. (I'm clearly an optimist...)
