Our group, with 6 different players, has now played Dying for Danzig twice with decisive German victories. Though balanced as a two-player, we would suggest giving the Russians the balance (subtract a German squad) when playing as three (two Russians and one German) unless the Russians are led by decidedly superior/experienced players.
I would think you are fortunate to have such a large local group. Well done and good gunnin to you all.

Here are a few I have played as two person, but the OBs lend themselves to either 3-4 players to represent the various nationalities:

FT247 Roter Mann LFT14
FT256 Radio X-Mas LFT14
WO21 Bolder Than Before WO Pack

leaving aside scenarios not specifically designed for three players, which are the scenarios where two players are allied against one? Usually in three players scenarios each side fights against the other two...
I'm currently playtesting one scenario where partisans fight against Italians and SS that are allied. If the Partisan wins, he wins alone. But if he cannot reach the VCs, then only one of the allied sides wins according a separate VC card.

RPT110 "Theirs Not To Reason Why" is specifically designed to be played as 3-player or 2-player. As a 3-player scenario, the Germans and Romanians are allies, but only one of them can win. Both the Victory Condition and an SSR describes how this works.

another one to add to the list:
The Good and the Bad (ecz 5), from TD's PACK (Advancing Fire).

In the three players version Partisans are against Fascists and SS. If the Partisan does not win, the Axis player who performs better wins alone.
And what means "performing better" is decided during the game between three possibile different "secret orders". So both Axis player must think to beat the Partisan first, then they can try to obtain more than the allied.

At our Taipei meetings, we have often played DASL-02 "Berserk!" as a 3-player game, when we are looking to blood a newbie.

We get the newbie to play the non-Berserk German group, whilst the more experienced players play the Berserk German group and the Russians. We did exactly that the Sunday before last, as a matter of fact.....

J202 Down by the River works as either a 2, 3 or 4 player game, might be slightly pro Russian but the German has so much fun, the VCs are not easy but they can be achieved, fun for all involved.

We played Second Hand News from the Roma pack yesterday as a 3 player and it was a blast. French resistance partisans and Italians team up against the SS. Three distinct set up areas make this perfect for 3 players.
