Onslaught to Orsha

Gents,

There has much interest in making Onslaught to Orsha available again, and it kills me that it has been unavailable for so long. We had initially thought of releasing this as part of our East Front project, but with the interest we have decided to make this an upcoming release as a stand alone product.

This could potentially be a 2019 release and will likely call it OtO 2.

All of the original content will of course be graphically updated. New boards and scenarios will also be included. We are already hard at work to make this happen.

I got my OtO from the hands of Klaus Fischer back then who hosted some double blind team scenarios on maps he made around the time - fun times.

Progress on this is fantastic.

Rick has redone the map and it is about 90% complete.
Many of the counters are done and look tremendous.
A number of the scenarios are being redesigned and that is going very well.
Lots of progress on several of the completely new scenarios with very positive feedback.

Still looking for a 2019 release.

20 years ago pretty much only boards 10 and 46 available for villages.

"OtO 2" is essentially a completely new product, not technically released before by BFP. Some of the scenarios are redesigned, some of the stuff significantly improved graphically. There will also be a new DW board, possibly 10 brand new scenarios, as well as new counters.

Maybe the ROAR record for it wasn't that great? I dunno, but it was a blast to play and we always felt like both side had a shot.

Cats Lair will be very similar to original but different board than 46. Too early to say how much will be the same or different, but there some games of it ongoing at the moment.

The new OtO and East Front project are two distinctly different products. Previously we thought we would include OtO in East Front but have decided differently.
