Unsurprisingly, I couldn't keep up with posting my games played at the 2025 Winter Offensive, so I put them on my blog.

Michael, very nice write up. I have huge respect for anyone who correctly refers to the brown-colored OB as “Soviets”, as do I.

Michael, your comment about winter storms keeping you from driving from Montreal resonates... it's why my brother and I have never attended from Michigan before. 8 hours and a mountain (sort of) range to cross does not instill confidence in winter.

Looking out my window as I write, we're mid storm, with maybe 20cm (8") having fallen in the last eleven hours. Another 20 cm forecasted today. The drive to Bowie, MD only slightly shorter than from Montreal, which is apparently over 9.5 hours. The drive from Hamilton is 45 minutes less, but still over 8 hours. The drive to Albany NY is normally about 5 hours. Caught some weather the one time one I travelled down there in December 2007. Been wanting to venture farther south in January. But unlike the first weekend of December, when storms are less common, a trip in January is dicey, occasionally icy, as hell. Will that stop this idiot from trying his luck in the future. Probably not. But you can be guaranteed that no matter how lightly I pack, I won't be riding my bicycle!
