Ordered mine. How do you know what preorder number you are? I got an order number in my confirmation but it was 121,--- (6 digits).

Did anyone else notice that all the other non-ASL preorder numbers needed are around 550 and all the ASL things are 800 to 1000? Why is that?

Has shipping gone up? I'm shipping from MD to Virginia and it's damn near $20. Pretty sure Hatten is not a big heavy monster...

Normally preorder quotas are due t the minimum run needed to make a price point that has been determined by the selling price point.
(Price = printing cost + overhead + fair profit) if any one of those variables gets too out of whack then the run becomes undoable. I'm sure printing cost per run is the top cost on this type of operation.

Perhaps because the ASL print runs are larger?

ASL products usually meet their pre-order goal regardless of the P# anyway. :)

Possibly because there is usually more physical stuff in an ASL item than, say a Gamers game?

The best way is to look at the number of preorders before placing yours (check it on the preorder page) and then compare to after your order is placed. In many cases you can tell what the number is due to it being slow - but in the case of a 1st day ASL product that number is rising quickly. So in my case the before was 12 and once mine was in it was 18 - so I am somewhere in between,

Oredred via German retailer Udo Grebe Game Design.

Current preorder count was 261 of 800 when I just looked.

I'll order this via Second Chance Games. Hopefully I'll get to pick it up in November....

Has there ever been an ASL item that didn’t hit its pre-order number?

I can’t think of one.

We’re all junkies...
