...also important to not let the wife know "exactly" how much the purchases cost. Lol. I'm also into model railroading, the economics of which she understands all too well. So by comparison, ASL is a relative bargain.
I just come clean and tell her it's one of those Hasbro games ...you know, like Monopoly and stuff?

How did you get so much more SSI increase than I did?
I am at max now, but not enough for > $120.00.
Steve, my ssi cost of living increases combined have amounted to (since 2020) an increase of 800 dollars a month. I'm making more money now than if i had waited til i was 70. you can thank inflation being out of control. lol. stay well steve. How are the armored train senarios coming along???..

I went in on TotR but wasn’t sure about WO15. I’m new and I haven’t yet bought into any of the scenario packs or journals. I’m assuming that there are other such products (other Winter Offensives) out there worth collecting first. Is there a good rationale for buying WO15 now vs later?

Gifted with a beautiful blowup doll as a college graduation present, I have paid dearly whenever I strayed throughout the following decades.

Preordered ToR. Like that there are a plethora of scenarios to enjoy.

Dunno about now vs later, but you‘ll want the WO packs for the boards at least.

Pretty soon it'll be worth flying to the US just to pick up a suitcase full of ASL products. Actually, that's not a bad idea...
Guess what:
If some of your European buddies find out that you are flying over to ASLOK, you will be asked doing just that...

Alternative alternate method:
You've got a US player of the Armed Forces stationed abroad in Europe. If he is willing, he might be able to get over ASL stuff for cheap - and without customs.

Fun Fact:
Did you know that if you buy a crate of German beer at the PX of a US base in Germany, that it might be cheaper than buying it in a German supermarket?
Up until here, it might sound merely a bit strange. But listen to this:
The crate of beer will be bought by the forces in Germany. It will be then transported by aircraft to some logistics hub in the US. If requested by the PX in Germany, it will be flown back to Germany. There it can be bought at a lower price than in a German supermarket (I think down 19% sales tax).

I thought that this story might be appreciated by all those who groan under the weight of postage and customs duties when ordering a product directly from MMP which has to use normal carriers and procedures...

I thought about offering to do this while I was in Stuttgart. The problem is if either government finds out, you can be sent home. It would have put my wife's employment at risk so I opted to remain clean. If it were just my job ... -- jim

Would there be trouble with the SS symbol on the counters or is it considered historical?

Of course I would not want to propose to do anything illegal. Such kind of postal service is surely intended only for personal use and not for 'bulk shipment' for third persons.

Well if you are new- I suggest last year's WO pack 14 (if you can find it)

You only need Beyond Valor to play it.

For this one -- you will need Deluxe ASL, BV, Yanks FkoC
