I have to sit here on the other side of the pond and hope/wait until it hits the #. It's far cheaper to buy from retail....

$123.00 bucks? We get a couple of counter sheets (75% we already have):

four 11˝×16˝ geomorphic double-sided maps (16a/b-19a/b) two map boards actually.
49 overlays
two countersheets
Updated ASL Rule Book Chapter A & Chapter B Rules set
17 ASL Scenarios
one box and lid

At most I was willing to pay up to $75.00 for this but $123.00 just seems way too steep for what you get.

Not trying to be negative, heck, If MMP parts it out, all I would essentially need are the maps, scenarios and overlays. I have the train rules from VotG and with a little photoshop magic make my own train type overlays.
I have NKVD and the SS OB so theres that.

$70 shipping to Switzerland... 🤔
This is murder.

I will wait until secondchancegames have it available.
If only MMP had a deal with them as GMT have.

Designers spent years researching historical materials & data, interviewed subject matter experts, endlessly iterate possible design options that strikes the right balance between playability and realism. Armies of playtesters took time off their lives to play (and replay) designs and discuss thoughts and feedback. Proofers spent endless hours going over each rule, map hexes and counters to make sure things are as tight as possible. Then there's all the work done by the publishers.

And yet, at the end, someone always reduce all that to "oh a couple of countersheets, two maps and a box".

It's AMAZING that anyone bothers to create anything new for ASL at all.

PS I can't afford it either but I respect all the work that IS the product.

I agree.
Whatever people do, you will find negative criticisers.
In the present case, there is much more than the reedition of out-of-core-modules units and terrains.
On the back of the box, I see an Axis Minor coloured T-34 and a German 47 AT Gun.
There are Factory markers too.
The overlays are superb.
The urbab boards look great too.

When I have found the lest costly way to purchase the game, I won't hesitate to get it.

Nice to see some new ASL material on New Year's Day. It seems like there's been a lull in that department for the past few months.

J13 and J14 have been exceptional products, though.

Who is being negative? I appreciate the fact that MMP has come out with some great products, I enjoyed both J13 and J14, none were over the top expensive and well worth the time spent playing those products. I just do not understand why MMP is charging so much for so little with TotR module. Do we really need more location markers? Do we really need a box? I mean, MMP's Manila module had more goodies in there and at a much cheaper price.
