Is it possible to have a "sD used" function added to T34 85's, possibly under depletable ammo?
You're right. But one of my VASL missions is to reduce counter clutter AND visits to the counter tray.Under Unit -> Vehicle -> Sm / Mo Att there are counters for smoke and motion success and failures.
Reduce clutter by adding a counter? -- jimYou're right. But one of my VASL missions is to reduce counter clutter AND visits to the counter tray.
By adding a mention of depletion as for depletable ammo on the unit's counter - precisely to avoid the use of an addotional marker.Reduce clutter by adding a counter? -- jim
seriously, you can't remember you failed a sD attempt? Is it possible to have a "sD used" function added to T34 85's, possibly under depletable ammo?
The fact that it is one use. — jimseriously, you can't remember you failed a sD attempt?
What am I missing here?
That is nearly what the ammo depletion menu does (a little acronym sticks out of the counter, in red if ammo is depleted). How about some computer magic and remove any mention of sD6 from the back of the T34/85 after it is depleted or put a fat diagonal red line through it ?
I have 18 T34s in a 15 turn scenario. I don't want to have to remember who has smoke left and who doesn't.seriously, you can't remember you failed a sD attempt?

So now the motivation to change VASL is to make it work better on a 6 sigma scenario?I have 18 T34s in a 15 turn scenario. I don't want to have to remember who has smoke left and who doesn't.
According to the Scenario Archive there are 372 scenarios with the T34/85.So now the motivation to change VASL is to make it work better on a 6 sigma scenario?
Methinks it is time for you to learn how to modify the VASL program for your specific needs?
Possibly, but that doesn't change the request for the counter. Anyway what you doing in the VASL section you luddite.sD on T-34's is only by SSR though isn't it?
Not T34/85. Its in Chap H as standard, for one sD shot (attempt?)sD on T-34's is only by SSR though isn't it?
To be fair to Craig the chapter H note says 'may possibly' so I can sense his doubt. ( And fear)Not T34/85. Its in Chap H as standard, for one sD shot (attempt?)
