No, a leader may direct only one FG/weapon per phase [A7.53].Can a leader direct a squad's inherent FP against one Location and also direct that same squad firing a BAZ against another Location in the same phase?
I knew that...LOLNo, a leader may direct only one FG/weapon per phase [A7.53].

No.A leader directs MG fire in the prep fire phase, and the MG keeps rate. Lacking other desirable targets, can the prep fire player mark the MG (and the leader) with an opportunity fire marker and fire again in the advancing fire phase using both the MG and the leader?
A7.25: a unit may not have fired (or become TI) before being marked with Opp Fire.Let me ask the question in a slightly different manner:
A leader directs MG fire in the prep fire phase, and the MG keeps rate. Lacking other desirable targets, can the prep fire player mark the MG (and the leader) with an opportunity fire marker and fire again in the advancing fire phase using both the MG and the leader?
There are several ways this is true. Per A7.1, no unit may fire in more than one fire phase per Player Turn. A.15 allows a unit to fire in the (enemy) MPh & DFPh, and a vehicle that keeps ROF during its (friendly) MPh may fire again (once) in the AFPh [D3.32], but these two exceptions do not contradict A7.1 because the (enemy or friendly) MPh is not a fire phase. If a unit were able to fire in both the Prep Fire Phase and the Advance Fire Phase, that would contradict A7.1.Ok, that is clear enough. In other words, rate must be exhausted in the fire phase it was first used...
JR, thanks for the 7.1 citation. There are several ways this is true. Per A7.1, no unit may fire in more than one fire phase per Player Turn. True but in this case the second weapon (the bazooka) was ordnance and so can't form a FG.A leader can direct subsets of the original FG for subsequent shots, but not supersets.
