I just noticed this on Facebook, from the the MMP post:
We have decided to create an Advanced Squad Leader Hall of Fame, which will be hosted at Multi-Man Publishing's headquarters in Millersville, MD
The first group of inductees are as follows:
  • Guards Counterattack (scenario)
  • Hill 621 (scenario)
  • John Hill (builder)
  • Don Greenwood (builder)
  • Bob McNamara (builder)
  • Charlie Kibler (builder/artist)
  • Bill "Fish" Connor (builder and creator of ASLOK)
  • Perry Cocke (builder/player)

I would've like to have heard it. Seems the inductees were honored well with his words about their impact on ASL.

Glad to see this. Those honored quite deserve the recognition but it's Bill " Fish " Conner not Connor. Lol MMP follows Avalon Hill's tradition of misspelling people's names.

Nixon
Sisler (both)
Burk

Those names come to mind.
Thanks Noob but as I have said in the past I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time and just rode Fish's and Mac's coat tails to whatever notoriety I have.

My votes would go to Carl Nogueira and Tom Morin, who have done more for ASL in the southern New England region for this hobby than anyone else I know. ASL lifers and always coming up with something to be enjoyed not just in region, but by the entire ASL Community.

Rodney Kinney.
THIS. VASL is an extremely important part of the ASL hobby, and Rodney is the guy who introduced it to the world...and in the spirit of Nikolai Tesla, has given it to the masses, without recompense. Many have aided to build on it, but his contribution/oversight from the beginning is key.
