Registration is open for Tussle in the Tundra 2023. This is our 15th year and we’re looking forward to seeing many of our ASL comrades on August 10-13th. A new scoring system for the main tournament is being introduced to encourage play through all five rounds and there will be a two-day Starter Kit tournament (I think it’s a first for SK!)

Play list for all the events will be posted in mid-April.

I am planning on attending, making a drive up from Atlanta after Spreading Blaze the previous weekend. Are there any folks from New England that want to take a one-way flight to Atlanta, attend Spreading Blaze, and then join me on the return trip to Manchester NH?

This is very tempting! I will check out the cost of such an endeavor and let you know.

Apologies, but I have decided to fly from Atlanta to New England and won't be making the drive. I have to be back in Atlanta for a family commitment and can't make a leisurely drive back. Again, sorry if this inconveniences you in any way.

No problem, I couldn't justify the extra hotel expense versus the flight savings.

Had a great time playing ASL with both old and new friends this past weekend in Manchester NH. Chuck did a great job organizing the event and Mark Evans was a great tournament director. I went 3-2 in tournament play and also played a fun play test on the open play game date. Thanks to all my opponents for the great games and special thanks to Chuck for picking me up and returning me to Logan. Next up on the tourney scene is ASLOK in around 7 weeks.

Same thing for me. I had an enjoyable four days of ASL. I won 3 and lost two during the tournament. Mark Evans came up with a scoring system to make every round important, which I appreciated. I give a big "thank you" to Chuck and Mark for putting in the effort to organize this event for us.

Congratulations George! One tough opponent, a well deserved win. Tussle was a blast. The point system that made the fifth round count was innovative and kept four 4/1 players in the running for some wood to the end. Great opponents, fun scenarios, good camaraderie . I got to play my first Korea scenario and I won big'ly on the raffle too. I won the new French module and Manila! I was truly lucky this weekend. Many thanks to Chuck and Mark for a fine event, we really appreciate all of your efforts. Looking forward to next the Tussle, wherever it may be
