The only really remarkable thing about the list is that it suggests players like playing recently released scenarios. Here is the top 20 with the date of publication added. Only a single scenario is more than a year and a half old, and it is an ASLSK scenario. Over half of them were published in the current calendar year.

Code:
## Year Title Publication

 1 2017 A Real Barn Burner [J183] Journal 12
 2 2017 Belgian Blitzkrieg [J182] Journal 12
 3 2016 Hart Attack [J167] Journal 11
 4 2017 The Haunted Castle [J185] Journal 12
5 2016 Tigers and Flames [DB130] Dispatches from the Bunker #42
 6 2017 Buckley's Block [J189] Journal 12
 7 2017 Rebels Without a Pause [J191] Journal 12
 8 2016 Corridor to Extinction [SP259] Schwerpunkt 22
 9 2017 The Cost of Non-Compliance [WO22] Winter Offensive 2017
10 2016 Bedburg Bite [J175] Journal 11
11 2017 In Deadly Combat [J187] Journal 12
12 2016 Among the Dead [J165] Journal 11
13 2016 Anatoly's Ambush [SP255] Schwerpunkt 22
14 2017 Grab and Go [J188] Journal 12
15 2017 Trial Run [J190] Journal 12
16 2017 Castles on the Horizon [J186] Journal 12
17 2016 Old Friends [J178] Journal 11
18 2017 Raff's Rules [J193] Journal 12
19 2004 Retaking Vierville [S1] ASLSK #1
20 2016 Costly Baptism [BFP107] Poland in Flames
It is encouraging to think, however, that despite the vast number of scenarios (thousands printed and more options via SASL, DYO, etc.) there are at least some elements of the community who are playing the same things.

Nothing remarkable about that - it's been a general trend in the ASL hobby for over a decade to "gravitate towards the new".
It's one of the strengths that has kept the hobby alive as long as it has been, and what will sustain it going forward for some time to come.
