We'll see how much fun you're having when you run into my defense. 😂
You guys have a blast in Rees, I sure did in playtesting it, Tom did an awesome job, expanding what had been a single scenario I researched 30+ years ago into the HASL you guys are getting into now. I hope the dice are fair and you play it all the way through, Good Luck! Vic.

Finally finished my British setup in DFTB's Operation Turnscrew. Will start the first CG scenario sometime tomorrow. Looks to be a blast.

Here is a suggestion that I learned from the guys doing the Manila CG. At CPP replenishment time, give both sides an Original DR of 7 to keep things closer to balanced.

While playing Friendly Fire's Anhalt Pandemonium, my wounded 8-0 was trying to assault move/advance into the objective row "R" hexes. A KIA result and I tossed the leader to the side. I didn't notice until a minute later, that he had stuck the landing

Make sure that the "Lt. von Marwitz" counter which is in that Rees HASL is positioned in a way that he gets promoted to Oberst 6+1. ;)

Japanese 10-1 and 8-0 dead.
Well, the situation is obvious:

The Japanese 8-0 publicly chided his superior 10-0.
Therefore, the 10-0 beheaded the 8-0. But since the 10-0 had lost face, he had to commit seppuku.

Did your opponent at least pass his SW recovery dr to bring back the swords as trophies?

Punched and clipped a lot of German infantry from BV3 to replace my fading veterans.
I hear you Mike, not only are my German counters fading but I've used the Battle School precision dice for the Germans so much that I have wore the image off the one pip on both dice. We play this game way too much, LOL!

Played Raff's Rules. My opponent has the American. During three turns, I rolled six 3's for his SAN. My oppo rolled four 1's all of which selected the artillery pieces in the rear, Crew breaks, crew dead. Crew breaks, crew dead. Never maded it to the rally phase for either one.

Started laminating the Red Volga map extensions and my collection of LCP HASL maps (Bloody Buron, Casa Berardi, Crossing the Moro, Race to the Meuse, Steelworks), got the backs of the Volga extensions and Casa Berardi done, now I need more matte vinyl for the fronts and some more gloss for the backs.

I'll also need to cover a replacement Red Barricades map I bought on ebay since my old one wrinkled around the edges a bit as I hadn't laminated the back 30 years ago.

Looking forward to playing some of the LCP stuff, then some LFT (Inor & Operation Chariot particularly), and then back to Stalingrad for a mega campaign using both Red Factories.
Lots of stuff to do!
I cut back my buying recently, I'm 58 and need to play a bunch of this stuff before I can't any more, but I gotta say that ASL is probably the best bang for your buck of any hobby. I may have a couple of thousand spent on everything, but the amount of entertainment you can get is almost endless.
