SM08 AT Non qualified use

Together with my friend we are trying to understand whether an American HS using the American AT is suffering a +2 DRM for unqualified (A21.13) use. Now, it seems it suffers a decreased of its B#/X# by 2 AND a -1 for Ammunition Shortage (because it is not Captured - A21.11). Is this correct?

Sounds right. Non qualified use and ammo shortage are cumulative.

The ammo shortage reduces the B#but turns it into a xurcked B. The weapon will malfunction on a 10. A 9 will add a low ammo counter. A 12 will X out the gun.

A21.13: "An ordnance weapon which requires a crew to man it may be operated by non-qualified friendly MMC or qualified enemy MMC by applying the 21.11-.12 penalties to their use."

There's no ammo shortage - unless there's an SSR saying so.

The B# goes down by two, per A21.11, ROF -1, Red TH#, and a +2 TH DRM, per A21.12.
