May Infantry which are passengers attempt to place a smoke grenade? Before we get the dogmatic "Passengers are not Infantry" please know that I am aware that the index defines Infantry as MMC/SMC on foot. I am asking in light of this thread and its ruling. -- jim

Hi Jim,

I was attempting to have the inherent crew place the sg in accordance with D13.35. I don't think that qualifies as passengers (but I've been wrong before). The placement dr <= 2 for "any CE AFV" for inherent crew is where I derived the 2 from.

Jim

I read the linked thread and didn't see any rules reference to smoke grenades. Did I miss a reference to A24?

If not, don't see where you can get around the dogmatic "Passengers aren't Infantry" response which leads one to the inevitable "No" answer.

Just saw Dave's response. There's a difference between "passengers" and "crew"!

Dave,
I completely mis-read your log and all is well. Sorry for this useless thread. -- jim
