Does one need special counters for this? Or are the current VASL counters sufficient?

I have a Bangalore (30-1) in the American OB, under SW, and if you download the Anzio 44 extension there is a Bangalore (16-1) in both German & American colors.

not really, its a inter connected campaign with various scenarios consecutive, first you begin with number 17
