Turn on the lights then!I can't imagine playing night on a table.
I take pics on my phone of my setup. It makes forgetting HIPS way less likely.I had sworn off of night until VASL. Now I will only play night on VASL.
Given how much is available to play, really anything with a lot of HIP is VASL only.
We played a TotR scenario recently and my opponent kept forgetting that his unit had a SW, etc
which kind of wrecked the game. His bad, could have been me just as easily as
I guess we are getting too used to the wonderful HIP function on VASL.
That's actually how it works on a table...I can't imagine playing night on a table.
I can imagine it, but that is as far as I will go.I can't imagine playing night on a table.
I would love to see VotG, Red Barricades and SASL rules in eRB in the future. I have all those modules...I hope that the MMP guys can transition to the eRB for all their products but I am not sure how they guarantee the monetization. Perhaps if they give a code for 50% discount in the box of a new HASL towards the purchase of the eRB for that HASL.
Exactly, I love eRBSince I purchased the eRules there is no going back really, just the search engine for it is amazing and the cross references are also invaluable.
It sounds like an HASL rule book is already in the works.I would love to see VotG, Red Barricades and SASL rules in eRB in the future. I have all those modules...
I asked Curt about this on Discord, he said "In the works."I'm just wondering, is there update about SASL 3rd edition?
There was a request here on GS a number of months back for some play testing volunteers. So definitely being worked on and with enough updates to require play testing.I asked Curt about this on Discord, he said "In the works."
I read that as "It's a ways out." Probably a lot of new layout to do since the last time it was printed, and I think they are adding to it.
I cannot imagine many of the current TPP offerings being made by MMP- at least in reasonable time. MMP has a long pipeline, and adding more stuff to it is not going to make anyone happy. So if TPPs shut up shop today and everyone submitted their designs to MMP instead, what would the future look like?
Agreed - if you want a "thing" but the people who make the "thing" don't/won't/can't make it, you go and do it yourself, and that's how you get TPPs.I cannot imagine many of the current TPP offerings being made by MMP- at least in reasonable time. MMP has a long pipeline, and adding more stuff to it is not going to make anyone happy.
We are getting more official products than ever that is a good thing. TPPs add to that.
Neither I nor Dispatches from the Bunker are going away any time soon...TPP widens and deepens the pool of experienced designers and playtesters for everyone to draw from.
