Here is a quote from A11.22

"Any Infantry/Cavalry unit(s) attacked by an Original 12 CC DR may likewise withdraw from CC immediately thereafter, assuming it has not been eliminated by that 12 CC DR"

And from the close combat comprensive Example (6th paragraph)

"The German rolls an Original 12 CC DR resulting in no effect other than Infiltration for the Russian, who can now choose to Withdraw either or both squads before making an attack"

In the example, the german is only attacking one of the two russian squads.
A11.22 says that only the attacked squad(s) benefits from infiltration whereas the example seems to indicate that everyone benefits from it (even the squad that is not attacked). Which one is right?

Whichever comes later in the RB would be my guess.

If the are part of the same rule number then we really need errata to clarify this.

Hmm, good catch geezer. Both Russians are attacking the German which rolls the '12' but that doesn't seem to apply to the rule you quote.

The other typo is: ". . .the 3-3-8 did not eliminate the its target. . ." delete the "the".
