Finding maps

OK then, silly question time yet again. I am NOT software savvy in the least. A week or so ago I had a friend help me find some maps for something. We got them, but NOW that is the ONLY maps I have access to. I can't find any of the "normal" maps. Want to get my RB maps again not to mention the rest.
I assume I am pointing at the wrong thing but no idea how to point at the rest of the maps.
Please help.

Are you referring to Vassal Maps ?

If it is VASL, the program downloads the boards automatically when you designate them when you are creating a new game.

The first thing to check is that your folder for boards is indicated correctly in VASL.
