I've always thought that Realtime/Multi-Player would be the ticket that allowed Steve to buy the Soviet vehicles he craves. That is, multiple players each commanding a company or reinforced tank platoon, etc. mixing it up without waiting for turns. This could also simulate C&C. As an example, a Soviet player would have to command larger bulky units and have limited communication with his support units. The German players would all have 'radio communication' (talking) or texting and could gang up on the Soviet.Yeah.
Of course in BFC's words multiplayer per side is a feature not worth doing because nobody would buy it.
Steve really is like Bill Gates in that he didn't see beyond his initial success.
