Maybe they are holding back the release until all the Steelbooks are sold out.The game manual for Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy is now available for online viewing! The 200 (!) page manual (available in a fully printed version in the Limited Steelbook(TM) edition on pre-order right now) explains the basic game mechanics, editor and map making, as well as the major units and weapons available. For the first time included also is an in-depth tutorial by beta tester 'Normaldude'.

No such luck. The marketing geniuses over at BFC decided that you will have to buy the game and wait for its release for that little perk.PDF available?
Yup. They seem to be following the lead of those other marketing geniuses at Tiger Wood PGA Tour 12, Drangon Age II Civilization V and PC:O. How these people manage to tie their own shoes puzzles me sometimes. No such luck. Perhaps BFC should hire you, you seem to have all the qualifications to make it as one of the BFC rock star employees. Albeit you might want to get someone to check your shoelaces for you...
That's a nice feature, if true, for the detail-oriented folks.Interesting...the split teams works differently than I thought - seems more logical too. If it works the way I am interpreting it. Rather than presuming that "doctrine" was to split into specific groups, I think the manual is saying you can just detach teams from a squad for specific purposes - the equivalent of saying - "you, you and you - go scout that barn" or "you, you and you - assault that trench!"
Seems to make sense.
