During the German Turn a US AFV aquires (-1) a non-concealed German squad claiming bocage TEM during the DFPh. At the end of the Turn the German squad becomes concealed (even while within the LOS of the US AFV).

What happens with the Aquired -1 counter? Does the US AFV gets the -1 DRM in his next PFPh versus the concealed German squad?

I think the -1 Acq will apply, but if ITT is used, acquisition will be lost afterwards if the target doesn't lose concealment.

Afaik you can't gain ITT acq against a concealed target, but if you have it you can use it.

Can't use a ITT Acq vs a concealed target. C6.51: "...A 1/2" Acquired-counter DRM applies only to all Known units (/bridge) in that target Location, . ..."

You could transfer the -1 acq to a -1 Area ACQ and fire with the ATT, C6.52. You can't use a 1/2" acq when firing at concealed targets, C6.51, and you only gain acq using ITT/VTT if "the acquiring shot causes loss of that concealment", C6.57.

Now for the tough question: C6.57 EX talks about a tank with a -1 Area ACQ on a building. It says if the tank fires with the ITT at the level with only a concealed unit, the ACQ is lost, C6.52. The tough question is, here, if the AFV with the -1 acq fires on the concealed target with ITT (and without the -1 acq DRM) and the target loses concealment, is the acq now -2 or does it count as "attacks ... a different target" and the original -1 acq is lost and replaced with a new -1 acq?

Not sure how much this helps, but a Perry Sez:

During the DFPh, a Gun fires at a Location containing a Known enemy unit and a concealed enemy unit, using ITT. The result of
the shot is “no effect” on both. An acquisition marker is placed. A subsequent shot in the DFPh causes the concealed unit to lose
concealment. During the APh, the two units advance to different Locations, both in LOS of the Gun. May the Defender choose to
track the previously concealed unit with the acquisition marker?
A. Yes, when the unit lost concealment it became part of an acquired stack.
