Banzai!! 27.2</a> is now available!
Welcome back to another edition of the newsletter of Texas ASL, Banzai!!. I hope everyone is safe and sound and makes a New Years resolution to play a lot of ASL in 2023.
In this issue we have a special treat in store. Banzai!! is honored to be able to publish a long lost Crossfire from that dynamic duo of Rich Summers and Robert Banozic.
The renowned Jim Bishop has graciously given us permission to republish his excellent Prisoner article in the pages of Banzai!!. I give a rundown the 29th Annual Texas Team Tournament
completed this year in Austin. And Rich Spikly provides us with an update to his analysis of The Last Bid he did in Banzai!! 24.1. All this and more await you in this issue. Enjoy.

The trouble with these great articles is remembering and applying the content. I need to graft them to my brain somehow.

I'm considering pasting the examples into collage pages and dropping them into A20.

Still holes in the Prisoner rules. Too many "added" comments without the rule actually changing.
It would be simply fixed by actually defining and using better terms.

There is NO incentive for prisoners to withdraw from Melee. That unto itself breaks the prisoner rules and CC overall...and causes the "MUST" take the prisoners debacle to occur.
Great examples though...SORELY needed for that section since so many players just SIMPLY NQ or FTR out of frustration of the A20 section..
Shame...Prisoners are ALMOST akin to BI. Shunned by most scenarios with VP...

Perhaps use Interrogation more often, that's usually an incentive (it's only optional and implemented by mutual consent-like Weather, Air support, swimming, convoys, barrages, etc.).
