If you want to be the British in GStK, you sir, are a masochist!
I've played it twice as the MiB(both times, the other player
requested playing the Brits), and both games have ended with
my MiB Death Stacks marching into the British perimeter for the
win w/o much trouble.
The ROAR record is looking a wee bit lopsided as well...

I played this once with Tom Harper. I was the Brits. He used ONE his 81 MTRs, using spotted fire no less, and proceeded to lay down 18 smoke counters on Turn 1. Bad day for the Brits. Game over by Turn 5....Perhaps the greatest single feat of dice rolling I have ever witnessed.

I am aware of the balance and the situation the British are in.

So does anyone want to play it with me on Wednesday at ASLOK?

Despite what ROAR says, I do not think this seems like a walk through for the Germans. Thats a LOT of brits to dig out (and KEEP out)

<SHRUG>

Been thinking of getting a large game set up for ASLOK this year, not certain I want it THIS big:>))) This one would be an all-day affair:laugh: BUT I will be there Wednesday.

did ya find an opponent yet?

Peace

Roger

you know the more I look at this one the more I am surprised and the apparent ease the German victory.

Sure they have the toys, but the brits can spread out and make the germans dig them out of every building. That's a lot. Plus they can HIP (from memory the card is at home) 3 squads/equivalents. that means 6 HS could be hanging out to pop up at the last turn and re-enter the "block".

I know if I was playing the Brits, I would be spread out all over the place (they have plenty of leaders) and HIPed to my fullest extent.

Peace

Roger
