Some believes this is an illegal setup.
However, I cannot find anything in the ASLRB that prevents a PB from setting up in either a Sunken or Elevated Road?

B30.1 specifically states that pillbox can set up in a road. The only exception is a bridge.

Hey my son set up a German 50L on level 1 of a building in Merzenhausen Zoo. Anything is possible if you don't look at the rule book. 😂

If you fortify both ground and first level, perfectly legal.

Gully is specifically NA based on a Q&A, so I suppose one could argue equivalence with the sunken road. But that’s trying to apply reality which is generally not all that productive when it comes to ASL rules!

Entrenchments aren’t allowed in either, maybe that’s what they are remembering?

I can’t find anything prohibiting it and the fact B30.1 specifically allows roads and excludes bridges but not sunken/elevated roads sure makes it seem like pillboxes are allowed!
