If you were going to "redevelop" Board 6, what would you do? Turn it into a walled village? Redesign the chateau into a more in-scale estate? Change it into an industrial park? Make it a military base (I'm sure some must have been fought over)? Make it into Stalag 13? Turn it into Castle Anthrax?

I think that it would need so many changes to be a believable map that it would not be worth the effort.

I'd cut out the Chateau and paste board 10 village in the middle. Shrink the buildings down if needed.

BFP made an overlay for just this. It came in the Operation Cobra product. I just don’t remember exactly what it did to make things more Normandy like. I remember playing on it though, and thinking it worked.

I didn’t even realize I still had an sig line. It does not appear when I post from my phone, which is how I post 99% of the time.
And, I’m much older and slower than I used to be!

Interesting about the sig line. I do probably 99% of my posts by phone also and wondered where my sig went. Can this be fixed for those of us phone users. Not a big deal really.

Another concept for ‘ol board 6: A PTO area large scale farm operation. Add some huts, a few remaining jungle hexes, cultivated grain in a few spots, throw in some paddys. But still mostly orchard / palm.

6z? -- I'd suggest simply creating a new board. Then there is no limitation to what can be done. I'd rather see an overlay that transforms a "tried and true" board like "ol' #6", e.g., covers up that "mansion". I was quite unenthusiastic about 10z and 17z from WO pack #6. It is my guess both these boards have had little traction beyond the pack they came in. Save new boards for totaly fresh ideas. JMO.
