Question on SR in Q18 Take the Crossroads

Getting ready to play this one as the Americans. In SR2, is the Sapper reference and the associated clearance attempt DRM allowed under B28.8 intended to apply to the Wire? B28.8 specifically calls out Minefields and clearance attempts, but there are no mines in play. The only other Fortification in the German OB that a clearance attempt could be applied to is Wire. Thanks in advance.

B28.8 further references B24.74 for general clearance. They ge the modifier for all clearance attempts.

Yeah, saw that, but B24.74 is also titled Minefields. B24.73 addresses Wire and also refers you to B26.51-.53 which covers DCs being used as bangalores for Wire clearance. Wasn't sure if there was a typo in the reference citation. Either the DRM or DCs as bangalores will work.
