Since both developers of the game are posting on this forum, maybe it is a good place to ask this question:

While playing multiplayer, would each player see only those vessels, which are visible from the ships under his control? It would be really realistic, if there were some "friend or foe" dilemmas.

Another question re. multiplayer is how many players can play. It would be grand to have more than one say "squadron commander"................

You can only see ships visible from at least one of your own ships. Even friendlies are not necessarily visible.

Max is 16. The starting number in a particular scenario is based upon the number of divisions in the order of battle. Once joined, assignments can be juggled. I may open things up a bit eventually. But in the current implementation you need to play one of the larger scenarios if you want more than two or three players.

Nice............So how is communication between "squadrons" on the same side allowed. Do you have to communicate via signal light/flags assuming you have sight of other friendly vessels or would you just see everything your "team" members see. I take it there is a FOW setting in the options? What exactly does this adjust in the game.

Oh and Thanks Norm for producing and Designing no doubt the best EVER naval tactical wargame. We old timers missed you so
