Light Woods Hindrance

Is Light Woods a Hindrance for the unit firing from the hilltop W5 to CC6?

Best I can figure is NO.

35.2 HINDRANCE: Light Woods are not an obstacle to same-level LOS
but are instead a Hindrance (A6.7) to same-level LOS.

So Woods would normally create a blind hex in CC6. Apparently, Light Woods creates no blind hex and 0 Hindrance. Pretty strange since out-of-season Orchards at least has the +1 Hindrance in this type situation.

As per 35.1 light woods are treated as woods except when stated otherwise. Since only same-level LOS is mentioned in 35.2, they would be treated as regular woods for purposes of creating blind hexes.

"Same-level" is the keyword.
Light woods create blind hexes as woods, because that is not a same-level situation.

ok thanks guys. yeah that makes the most sense.
Light Woods block LOS just like Woods unless same-level.

i just wasn't able to reconcile the same-level hindrance with regular woods LOS.
Orchards spells out the LOS blockage so I was expected the same thing for Light Woods.
