Nice product showing what happened on the far left of Gold Beach
Not sure why but this and Operation Deadstick are in the same packet – can’t seem to buy them separately
Not a slow intro by scenarios covering small engagements – all three are just big bash affairs with toys
Firstly Cheers to Mr Robert Martin for bring to life something Fantastic in design
Thanks for the designers note – gives it a nice feel
P1 to P6 of rules include:
Tables of obstacles, Water craft, Gin listing, and terrain
Favourite rules –
AVRE Bobbin – mats laid so tanks can run over mud easier
Just clarity on how the bridge layer and crabs were used to lay across thing
Usual Beach stuff that is written again from the Omaha stuff but more directed here
Scenarios cover King Beach assault landing and assault on La Riviere
Scen 1 (a and b) covers lots of toys landing on a beach and beating up germans – if you have not played some Omaha here I could see the defender not using the tirck you learn from the Omaha product so be careful
Scen 2 (a and b) as well covers the beach and beating up Germans – picture of Wn33
Scen 3 is passing of C Company through the secured beachhead further inland – more brit toys
Counter Sheets (look after both products)
So – lots of German inf and their SWs
Lots of Brit Inf and their SWs
Then the counter sheet that has enough def German pieces and English Toys to play the game
Cheers
Rob
