Hi everyone

I have a question about victory condition.

Like Sp110 J53 has "and/or" inside victory condition. This means that, in order to win, the russian must do the 2 conditions as the scenario designer write in past discussion some time ago.

So..in J53 is the same? in order to win the german must do all the two condition?

thanks

In English, "or" sometimes means "one or the other, but not both", and sometimes means '"one or the other, and possibly both." So on a famous game show, they say "you can take the prize, or you can select what's behind the curtain," they usually don't mean you can do both. When VC are written that say "you must do x or y to win", that can be read as implying "but if you do both x and y, you don't win." To make it clear that doing both is acceptable, the expression "and/or" is used. So if the VC are, "you must do x and/or y to win", doing "x" wins, doing "y" wins, and doing "x" and "y" also wins.

In J53, if the German player exits the VP off the North edge or controls the 3 buildings, or both, he wins.
