My VASLeague game with Jay Dragonetti could not have gone worse. Self inflicted, naturally.

You can also see the results of my second playing of Dien Bien Phu: The Final Gamble.

Both located at my blog https://cardboardwarrior.blog/

Thanks for reading.

ASL aside, I offer my condolences on the loss of your brother. You and I are roughly the same age, so he must have been called away much too soon. My sympathy and best wishes, buddy...

Thank you my friend, it was a very tough week. He was 47, had a seizure in his sleep and never woke up. We miss him greatly.

Roy:

Sorry to hear about your brother. Way too young.

I've played this a couple of times as the Russians and once as the Germans. I liked HIPing the Russian HS in the woods to pop out and recapture H8 and J7 late in the game. If my opponent was a MMC-counting person, it always made his either spend time moving through the woods or leaving a unit or two back to deal with the unknown.

Cheers,

Mark
