hey,
Sat down today and played "I.B." with my buddy Roger Foss.
It was a lot of fun, with Roger's Republican forces
doing everything right through the first 4 turns, only to have
what, at first, appeared to be a minor effect by my sniper(broke a
squad of his out on the flank) trigger a sequence of events that
led to my eventual victory.(I generated two Italian leaders in two
CC phases, and those snake-eyes rolls vaporised too many Repub-
licans for Roger to recover) Roger made a last ditch effort to win
by cvp, but was denied by my dice coming to life in the last turn.
I had a question; my tank-ettes were completely in-effectual. Is
there a concensus as to what to do with them?
I love low budget scenarios; always fun when you cringe at being
fired on by an 8 flat attack!

Those tankettes are CVP fodder - a good Republican will try to take them out as soon as they enter the game. Unfortunately, you might have to use them in the endgame to kill units for failure to rout or pull a freeze-sleaze. Until that point, keep them hidden as best you can and if you do have to risk 'em, sell 'em dearly.
