hi guys,

ever play something so much you get fouled up? Well Jim and I did on Saturday I think.

Playing in very heavy mist, so a +1 hindrance in every hex (roughly).

So, if a unit assault moves in open ground, even if only one hex from firer, does he:

- remain concealed?
- get a +1 or 0 drm?

Basic stuff, but we out thought ourselves I think.

thanks

Based on the KGP rules for Very Heavy Mist the unit would remain concealed and FFMO would not apply. The attack would be +1 Hindrance DRM.

If simply using the mist that develops from "heavy" rain in chap E, FFMO would apply since that is a LV hindrance.

Hi Brian,

Thanks! yes, it is KGP heavy mist.

it is just weird to see a concealed unit advance into an open ground hex with an enemy unit in it and NOT lose concealment.

Stop thinking about it as open ground--in Heavy Mist there is not Open ground, only Open Graves!
