I'm not sure what forum this one fits into, but looks very nice regarding production values.

Any thoughts on this one? Its in preorder on MMP site.

The game is awesome, though a lot of folks I talked to balked at the entry price. Still sitting on fence myself over comitting to it or not.

I have pre-ordered it and hope that more in the series will come out soon.

Can't wait to get this one.

Since it is a 3 mapper with 7 one map scenarios and 2 CGs with all maps, I have pre-ordered it. I downloaded the VASSAL mod and took a close look it.

The counters look great, nice to get away from NATO symbols sometimes.

Niko does great graphics and this gives me a chance to test Starkweather's claim to fame.

I have played the vassal version using a set of playtest rules that were posted at one point. I found the game to be very enjoyable and have gone ahead and preordered. As others have said: a really nice looking game with pretty smooth mechanics...

There is a -lot- in the box for that price.

Huge map, with backprinted "scenario" maps so that you don't have to set up two maps which happen to split city "X" to play the scenario about city "X". IMO, that's awesome.

A ton of 5/8" counters.

Easy, illustrated rules.

And best of all this game is -playable-. Its not a monster only meant for CSW Expo and a shelf.

(That might be necessary when butting Strike and Hold up against it to get -all- of Market Garden at this scale!)

Adam's already done a lot of work on it, OB finished, units/counters made, etc. and I -think- (don't hold me to it) Niko's already done some map work since we want "the look" to be totally consistent across the entire project.

I've had this on pre-order since July 7, 2005. I thought the price was a bit high, but the pre-order was so much better than what the price will go to I didn't want to kick myself later for not getting the price break.

Anybody have any idea when this might see the light of day?

I think the map -no printed full hexes, only corners-is going to be ground breaking in the sense that it looks much more like an actual map than a game map. Also, the scale at which it takes place is intruiging...wonder when the cry for the Stalingrad treatment of this system begins?
