Campaign Game lll Question about RESERVE

In Flanking the Maginot Line- FT INORlll campaign game set up. The main French force Elements of the 14th and 15th Algerians must set up in RESERVE. Which under normal reserve rules they may not move unless certain stipulations happen. Initial scenario special rules, number 5, Says no French personnel may voluntary exit It’s set up area before turn 2. Question is,, does this allow the French units that must set up in reserve to MOVE out of their setup area on or after trun 2 ??? Under normal reserve rules, they would not be allowed to do this. Are they allowed to move?

IIRC the reserve status is to keep the majority of the French in place whilst the Germans attack the village.

So I do not believe the intention was to allow them to move freely on T2.

Hi,
The reserves are here to garrison most of the map and to avoid a breakthrouh in this first scenario while keeping the available forces low.

The reserves are activated by the reserve rules (if the Germans are close to them), they cannot move freely on turn 2.

Note : As the French (and even the Germans) in this CG, maintaining a front line to avoid breakthroughs is very important.
