That's a tough question to answer. By "best," are we talking about most powerful superhero, or most fun comic to read?

Spiderman certainly has to rank near the top of the heap, although it's hard to ignore the X-Men. Spawn is probably the most innovative comic to come out in a very long time.

I used to have the Amazing Spider Man issue with the first appearance of the Punisher. It was worth $315 at the time, but I later sold it for much less.
