Hey Tesgora -

Thanks for the question. Hazmo Pack 4 will debut at the NY State ASL Championships (aka "Albany")! One of the scenarios (Hazmo31 - "The Cloak of Disorder") is already out for free. You would have received it as part of the Hazmo Horizon if you're on the mailing list (which you can do at the website just for registering - it's free and we keep your email address strictly private). If you didn't receive it (and this goes for anyone reading this post), send me your email address at hazardousmovement [at] yahoo.com and I'll get it to you right away.

The new Hazmo Board HZ2 looks good with huge potentials. You can drop a squad with 4 hex firing range in almost any terrain piece and the schematic possibilities are numerous. Lots of cordoned off hedge areas are screaming for Bocage designs. Question on hex X3 is the grey/white bullseye for sewer entrance or to indicate wide boulevard status?

Just hazarding a guess:
Maybe it is supposed to be a fountain in the middle of the village square just for aesthetic purposes?

P.S.
Remember, that not long ago a "Watering Hole" (which might in reality be something different) has been introduced on an LFT-board.
Good guess, could be, didn't some other ASL product come with Fountains? Something Stalingrad or the new Desert Boards from LFT? Could be SSR'ed in even since it's there if not...

Damn, your edit beat me to the punch!

It is indeed a Fountain, the rules for which are very simple. It's a Hindrance (not Inherent Terrain) with a +1 TEM, unless units therein are Encircled. See the scenario "Executed Now" from Hazardous Movement Scenario Pack 4: Making the Grade! :)

BTW, the map is also available on VASL, it's one of the newest additions!

Tom Repetti did an awesome job - as usual - on these maps! So we have him to thank! :)

Enjoy,

Chuck

Will drinking from the fountain give increased morale for 2 turns, remove CX, or BH an MMC?

That may be a different set of rules ...
