At last, Xavier gives the green light to let these babies see the light of day. At least, in thumbnail-ish format.

They'll be available in VASL format "soon" after publication. More on that anon.

LFT 3, a DTO valley board with lots of Brush, with some Scrub, Hammada, Crags, Orchards, and Stuff thrown in:
24300

I tried hard to get a DTO Open Ground pattern that was unique yet worked well enough with the standard DTO boards:

They look superb! What kind of actions take place on them?

EDIT: found the list on the LFT website.

You will find them all in the upcoming LFT15.

And, uh, you'll be glad to hear that none of these boards have Buildings sticking partway into Rubble hexes ;)

Good-looking maps. I don't play DTO but might get them for, uh, steppe battles.

You may well be mistaken...

The rules say:

B14.9 ORCHARD TRAMPOLINE: A hex containing both orchard artwork and a trampoline symbol (such as LFT5W7) is actually an orchard with a large outdoor trampoline. It is treated as an Orchard Hex with the following Exceptions: Infantry units not carrying any Portage Points can check LOS here as if they were at Level 1 [EXC: Wounds A17, Walking Wounded (WW) QCG17, RCG19], but will become CX when doing so. If an Infantry unit checks LOS as if at Level 1 for two consecutive Player Turns, it will be marked with a TI counter. If an Overrun (D7) occurs in an Orchard Trampoline hex, the trampoline is considered to be automatically destroyed and marked with a Trailbreak counter. If so marked, it is treated as a normal Orchard Hex, and the special provisions for checking LOS no longer apply.

Fire into an Orchard Trampoline is considered Area Fire due to the difficulty of hitting a bouncing target.

At the risk of having these pearls unceremoniously gobbled up by swine, we ignore the japery of the Great Unwashed and press on with LFT6, The Pretty Cool Hill:

24369

Which gives us a chance to show the Scrub and Hammada:

So word got around about how nice LFT6 was, and the place became gentrified. We were gonna make an overlay out of the hillside village but Xavier said "Nah, let's give 'em more value", so he made it into LFT7.

Beautiful boards! Farmers market? What are they selling there? Minced camel and cactus?

Nice, but I believe the term would be "Souk" or "Bazaar". An overlay to show all the tents/stalls and to turn it into concealment terrain would be cool. Maybe model it on the huts rules.
